  1. Disclaimers

    1. Based on workstation OEMs that design, develop, and support both the hardware and software for centralized workstations to enable remote graphics as of October 2019.
    2. HP ZCentral Connect Software requires purchase of a perpetual floating license per simultaneous connection and purchase of 1 year ZCentral Connect Software Support Service and requires download at hp.com/ZCentral. Not available until early 2020. Requires HP ZCentral Remote Boost Software which can be downloaded at hp.com/ZCentralRemoteBoost, a Windows 10, Windows Server 2016 or newer operating system, Microsoft Active Directory and Intel Active Management Technology for select features.
    3. HP ZCentral Remote Boost does not come preinstalled on Z Workstations but can be downloaded and run on all Z desktop and laptops without license purchase. With non-Z sender devices, purchase of perpetual individual license or perpetual floating license per simultaneously executing versions and purchase of ZCentral Remote Boost Software Support is required. ZCentral Remote Boost requires Windows, RHEL (7 or 8), UBUNTU 18.04 LTS, or HP ThinPro 7 operating systems. MacOS (10.13 or newer) operating system is only supported on the receiver side. Requires network access. The software is available for download at hp.com/ZCentralRemoteBoost.
    4. Based on HP’s unique and comprehensive security capabilities at no additional cost among desktop workstation vendors as of January 2017 on HP Desktop Workstations with 7th Gen and higher Intel® Processors.
    5. No additional virtualization hardware or software required (i.e. VMWare, Citrix, GPU virtualization, Teradici, and 3rd party brokers). Specialized IT management not required.
    6. HP ZCentral Remote Boost requires a Windows (10 or 7 SP2), RHEL (6, 7 or 8), UBUNTU 18.04 LTS, or HP ThinPro operating system. MacOS (10.13 or newer) operating system is only supported on the receiver side.
    7. Certain features of ZCentral Connect, such as remotely powering the machines on/off, require Intel AMT and Microsoft Active Directory.
    8. Based on hp.com store and dell.com store pricing dated September 2019, and performance based on core count of a racked-mounted HP Z4 G4, 6 core workstation configuration with 3 year warrant support, compared with two configurations of Dell PowerEdge R740 Rack Server configured with VMware Horizon Advanced 10 pack CCu license and 3 year support, Quadro Virtual Data Center Workstation hardware and licenses, and 3 year support. One configuration of the server uses 36 cores to be shared among 9 concurrent users, the other uses 56 cores to be shared among the same 9 users to ensure that each of the 9 users avail of 6 cores simultaneously, to more closely approximate the maximum CPU core availability of 9 racked Z4 workstations. Note that the processors on the Dell servers have a lower base frequency in both cases.
    9. The 90 day free trial of HP ZCentral Remote Boost is available for non-HP sender devices. At the end of the free trial period, the software will cease to function. To continue using HP ZCentral Remote Boost, purchase of perpetual individual license or perpetual floating license per simultaneously executing versions and purchase of ZCentral Remote Boost Software Support is required.
